Visualize website visitors on a live world map

We’re excited to introduce a new feature in Snoobi Analytics: an interactive world map that shows exactly where your website visitors are coming from. Not only from which countries but down to the city level.
And near real time, so you view immediate results!

What does the map do?

With this new feature, you can:

  • See cities across the world where your visitors are coming from to your website
  • Zoom in on regions for a closer look at local interest
  • Pan the map to explore visitor patterns anywhere on the globe
  • Segment your map by any segment in Snoobi, for instance:
    • Remove Internet Service Providers
    • Only show visitors to certain pages or website sections
    • Focus on visitors from advertising or social media

In general, apply any other Snoobi filter to narrow down visitors; like time periods, campaign sources, visited pages or e-commerce metrics.

Why is this important?

Using Snoobi's Geography option, you could only look at tables with numbers showing how many visitors you had by country or city. These were helpful, but with this interactive map, you can see patterns at a glance, instantly spot hotspots of interest, and visually understand your website’s reach.

Imagine seeing a sudden spike of visitors from Stockholm, or noticing consistent traffic from a region you didn’t know was interested in your services.  Insights that would be buried in a table now pop out instantly on your map.
With Snoobi's custom report option, you can create a report that shows maps using different filters or segments. Or simply export a map and add it to a presentation.

How can you use this new feature?

Here are a few specific ways you can benefit:

  • Identify new markets: Spot clusters of visitors from cities or regions you do not actively target yet — an opportunity for expansion.
  • Optimize campaigns: See if your marketing campaigns are reaching the locations you intended — or if your ads are drawing unexpected audiences.
  • Segment by visitor type: For B2B marketing, quickly see which companies or government organizations are engaging with your site — and where they are located.
  • Tailor content regionally: If you see strong traffic from a specific area, you could create localized landing pages or translate content.
  • Monitor changes over time: Use date filters to see how your reach grows after a campaign launch or other marketing efforts.

Web site marketing is all about understanding your audience. This new Snoobi interactive map makes it easier, faster, and more intuitive to see who your visitors are and where they come from, so you can make smarter decisions faster.
And as we show locations to the city level, there is no impact on privacy as we are still compliant with any GDPR rule.
