Accessibility insights based on real visit metrics
And it can be made better. Snoobi checks accessibility issues directly on the pages your visitors actually use.
Instead of giving you a long, technical list of potential problems across your whole site, Snoobi shows you where accessibility matters most, and that is on the pages people are really visiting.
That means you can:
- Focus on the right places : Fix what impacts your visitors first.
- See the bigger picture: Combine visitor sessions with accessibility insights.
- Understand the impact: Learn how accessibility issues affect things like engagement or conversions
No cookies allowed? No problem!
Many analytics tools rely on cookies to track visitors. But with growing privacy rules and cookie banners everywhere, this can be frustrating for both you and your visitors. And it makes it hard to actually analyze anything!
That is an area covered by Snoobi Analytics. You can already analyze how people use your website such as what pages they visit, how they move around, and where they spend their time without placing cookies at all. That means better privacy for your visitors and fewer barriers to collecting the insights you need.
Why accessibility is important
Consider this: if your most popular product page is not fully accessible, some visitors might leave before they can even find what they need.
Or if the landings page you have set for an advertisement is not fully accessible, any Call-To-Action you wanted may not be completed. Snoobi Analytics lets you see exactly how this affects behavior and gives you the tools to act.
By combining visitor analytics with accessibility checks, you can make smarter, more focused improvements that help both your visitors and your business.
While you cannot (and should not, for obvious privacy reasons) detect assistive technologies directly, you can optimize your web pages in general.
Keep in mind that studies consistently show that between 10–15% of web users have some form of disability or impairment that can impact digital accessibility. And that number will grow with aging demographics. Assume at least one in five of your site visitors may benefit from accessibility optimizations.
A few examples
Here a few examples on where to start with optimizing, using Snoobi's analytics capabilities. A simple initial approach using the Accessibiluty Check Panel and some segmentation already provides goodinsight.
- Use Snoobi's segmentation option to quickly segment your web traffic on visit sessions where the landing page is identical to the exit page. These pages are a good candidate to optimize for accessibility.
- Use Snoobi's filter option to zoom in on your contact- and other forms. How many users abandon the form without filling in details? Not all may be attributed to the accessibility but optimizing these pages are a good starting point.
- In general, review pages with high bounce rates, and focus on pages that contain some form of CTA (Call-To-Action). These are easy to select in Snoobi.
And with all of this information you can easily create a custom report to add the Accessibility Check panel for these specific pages and follow the improvement trend over time.
