Snoobi technology
Snoobi is a browsed-based Internet visitor tracking system. Browser-based systems are remarkably more reliable and extensive than log-based ones. Information is collected using JavaScript, and reports are created real-time. Since Snoobi is an ASP service, it does not require hardware investments, maintenance or other investments by the customer.

Script installation
The two-line string of JavaScript code installed on the website is run by the visitor’s browser. This script then sends the required information on the visitor to the Snoobi central server. Since the script is similar on every web page, it can be easily added, for example through a template or form. It can be installed on both http and https pages.

Visitor identification
Snoobi uses cookies and IP addresses for visitor identification. Whenever a visitor enters the customer’s website, a cookie is stored in the visitor’s browser. This is how we are able to disregard multiple clicks by the same visitor. If cookies are not in use, Snoobi resorts to IP-based identification. In this case, a visitor is defined as the same if no more than 20 minutes elapse between page downloads.
