The S Group boosts the follow-up of its online services
S Group, who runs more than 80 online services and websites, decided it was time to track these services more carefully. As collaborators, the S Group chose Snoobi Oy.
Company investments in online services and marketing have experienced a strong uprise during the last couple of years. At the same time, there's a growing demand for analyzing and keeping track of these online investments - do they pay off and do they actually make online marketing more effective?
The S Group, who has put strong emphasis on enhancing its online services, decided to take the next step and adopt Snoobi's web analytics tools to help evaluate these improvements. The goal was to find an analytics solution that would provide a user-friendly and business orientated report, suitable for the entire group. This also meant that receiving Finnish support and customer service was of importance. After an international competitive bidding, Snoobi proved to be the candidate to best serve these needs.
– In addition to the actual product, we were swayed by the domestic know-how and professional support team. We expect to receive the best national help and support from them, estimated Development Manager Jaakko Sävilammi from SOK's e-Business Unit.
A business focused approach was a key factor in tracking these online services. With the right, precise analytics information available, the company can make important decisions pertaining to its online business practices. The data makes evaluating marketing investments more reliable and also easier.
– With our tool, companies can target sponsored links in search engines better than before, as well as target all other kinds on online marketing, explains Pekka Koskinen from Snoobi Oy, an expert in web analytics.
From a small player to market leader
In Finland, Snoobi Oy has quickly become the leading experts in web analytics and visitor tracking.
– Snoobi took the position as Finland's most popular commercial web analytics tool in 2007. This deal with SOK is the biggest in Snoobi's history, making our status as market leaders undeniable, assesses Snoobi Oy's CEO Jukka Ropponen.
The fast-paced growth can be seen in the company profile. A couple of years ago, Snoobi Oy was referred to as a small-sized software company. Currently Snoobi Oy is a service complex where customer service, technical support and sales functions are just as important as the technology advances driving the tool forward.
Snoobi Oy continually develops its own business models and interest for international markets are emerging on the horizon. The typical problems with fast growth within the IT-sector haven't struck down.
– We take care of our current customers and make sure that our growth doesn't get in the way of catering to their needs. We feel it is important that small and medium-sized businesses get the same attention as larger enterprises, Ropponen sums up.
